Data we use and why

We process your IP address, page requests, browser information, and request times to deliver and secure the website. This relies on our legitimate interest in operating a reliable site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you contact us, we use your contact details and message to answer your enquiry. This relies on taking steps at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in responding to other enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

Website analytics

We use PostHog to measure page views and installation-button clicks without analytics cookies, session recordings, or person profiles. Connection data such as your IP address may still be processed. PostHog Cloud EU hosts this analytics data in Frankfurt, Germany.

In-app help assistant

This website does not offer a chat assistant. The FAQ page renders our public guides and answers and does not send your searches anywhere. LinkStock’s help assistant lives inside the LinkStock app in the Shopify admin and is described in the app privacy policy.

Feedback and support requests

This website has no feedback form. You can email us using the address above; enquiry emails are handled as described under “Data we use and why”. Feedback sent from inside the LinkStock app is stored together with your shop domain and is described in the app privacy policy.

Who receives data

Hetzner Online GmbH hosts the website in the EU. We also use PostHog for analytics and email providers to handle enquiries. These providers receive the data needed to deliver their services. We may disclose data where required by law.

How long data is kept

  • Website analytics: up to one year.
  • Server logs: 30 days.
  • Enquiry emails: one year.

Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. Contact the operator above to make a request; we may need to verify your identity.

You can also complain to a data protection authority, including the authority where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred.

We do not use your personal data to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
